Bandar Lampung, Wednesday (26/10/2022). The D4 Agribusiness Management Study Program, Department of Economics and Business, Politeknik Negeri Lampung (Polinela) held an Inhouse Training on International Scientific Article Writing and Administration of accredited journals which was held in the Main Meeting Room on October 26, 2022. The activity was filled with the delivery of training materials on international standard journal writing. The activity was attended by the Director of the Politeknik Negeri Lampung, the Head of the D4 Agribusiness Management Study Program, and all D4 Agribusiness Management Study Program Lecturers.`
The activity aims to advance the competence of lecturers in article writing, manifested in the form of training for lecturers in writing scientific papers at an international standard. The first session was for providing material related to writing journals or scientific articles. The second session was a discussion session between participants and the speaker.
The event was opened with remarks by the Director of Polinela and continued with the awarding of certificates to both speakers. Sulistiyo, A.Md. was the first speaker to explain journal governance. D4 Agribusiness Management has just started a journal, namely the Applied Agribusiness Management Journal (Friday). With the training and the existence of this journal, it is hoped that it will be able to become a forum for publication for both lecturers and students.
Zenal Asikin, PhD was a resource person at the Inhouse Training for International Scientific Article Writing from IPB University. In delivering his material, Zaenal Asikin, PhD, in addition to explaining the criteria for being accepted in an international reputable journal, also explained the stages in publishing articles as well as tips and tricks to publish at reputable journals both nationally and internationally. Lecturers of the D4 Agribusiness Management study program take advantage of the moment of discussion with the speaker to have more understanding regarding the process of making good articles so that they can be accepted or published in nationally reputable journals and international journals.
